REMINDER – When working with Brokers / Agents
Please be very careful if an agent / broker / introducer asks you to pay a different company (the actual stock holder).
If the deal goes wrong the broker will not compensate you.
A recent deal like this just happened in GREECE and the broker told the buyer to pay a different company. He paid believing the broker had done checks but then lost all 265K Euro as the company ran away!
A simple check with IPT or on the actual company he paid would have highlighted BIG ISSUES!
The broker only loses his commission.
So reminder be careful and always do full checks on both the broker / agent & the actual company you are paying. You are risking the full amount NOT just the profit.
